Applies to tuBEAT (com.kurtsoft.tubeat) on Android · Effective 30 August 2026
Start here. tuBEAT has no account, so there is no profile to close and no login to revoke. Almost everything the app knows about you lives on your own phone, and uninstalling removes it. The only data held elsewhere is crash reports and anonymous usage events — and you can ask us to delete those.
Your library, playlists, settings, listening history and any lyrics you edited are stored in the app's own storage on the device. To remove them:
Your music and video files are not touched by either step — they were never
the app's to delete. Playlists that were written to your shared storage as .m3u8
files also remain, because they are your files; delete them with any file manager if you want
them gone.
Two categories, and nothing else:
| Data | Where it is | Deleted on request |
|---|---|---|
| Crash reports and diagnostics | Google Firebase Crashlytics | Yes |
| Anonymous in-app events, device and app info | Google Analytics for Firebase | Yes |
| Your name, email, phone, contacts, photos, location | Never collected, so there is nothing to delete | |
These records are not linked to a name or an email address. They carry a random, resettable installation identifier, which is how a specific device's records can be found and removed.
We do not ask you to create an account, verify an identity or install anything in order to make this request. If we cannot locate records matching your description, we will say so plainly rather than claim a deletion we did not perform.
Even without a request, these records do not live forever: crash reports are retained by Crashlytics for a limited period and then removed automatically, and analytics events are deleted at the end of the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
