Booster is a volume booster and equalizer app. Booster does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. All audio processing happens entirely on your device.
None. Booster does not transmit any data off your device. Your settings (boost level, equalizer curves, presets, preferences) are stored locally on your device only and are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Booster optionally asks for notification access only after you tap the mini player or choose the related setting; it is never requested automatically at launch. This is used for one purpose only: detecting the media that is currently playing on your device, so the app can show the track in its mini player, offer play/pause/skip controls, and apply the boost reliably while music plays in the background.
Notification content is processed on the device, in memory, and only media-playback notifications are used. Notification content is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. You can decline this permission — the boost and equalizer still work — and you can revoke it at any time in Android Settings > Notifications > Device & app notifications.
Booster adjusts the audio output signal (gain, equalizer bands, bass, virtualizer, reverb) using Android's built-in audio effect APIs. Booster does not record audio, does not use the microphone, and does not request the microphone permission.

The current version of Booster shows no advertisements and contains no active in-app purchases. If a future version adds an optional Pro subscription or advertising, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and any third-party services involved (such as Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, or an advertising SDK) will be named here together with the data they process.
Booster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Since Booster does not collect or transmit personal data, your data never leaves your device. Local settings are stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same address with a new effective date. Material changes (for example, enabling ads or purchases) will be reflected in the app's Play Store listing as well.
